Help Us Support Pauline and her family.
For the past seven years, Pauline Walsh and her family have given their time, energy, and hard work to Honeoye Lake, spending countless hours on the weed collection barge. They have helped keep our shoreline and waterways clear so that all of us can enjoy the lake we love.
Now, Pauline needs our help.
Last week, tragedy struck when Pauline’s home and her neighbor’s home burned to the ground. In an instant, Pauline lost her home and belongings and was left without a place to call her own.
Thankfully, friends have opened their homes to Pauline, giving her a safe place to stay while she begins to face the overwhelming task of rebuilding her life.
During our recent HVA Trivia Contest, participants and winners quietly stepped forward and donated money to Pauline. It was a wonderful reminder of what makes the Honeoye community special: when one of our own is hurting, people come together.
Pauline has spent seven years helping take care of our lake.
Now it’s our turn to take care of Pauline.
The Honeoye Valley Association is creating an opportunity for HVA members, lake residents, neighbors, friends, and the entire community to contribute directly toward helping Pauline through this incredibly difficult time.
