Dear people interested in the management of Honeoye Inlet Wildlife Management Area:
We are hosting an “I Love My Park Day” event at Honeoye Inlet WMA on Saturday May 4th, 1pm to 4pm.

- Mostly, we have about 125 tree/shrub seedlings to plant.
- Also some tree tubes to maintain, and maybe some trash to pick-up.

Thank you for showing parks some love by volunteering on May 4! Please complete the following form to register to volunteer at a specific event.
If you would like to register a large group of volunteers, please wait for an event organizer to confirm that they can accommodate your group.
Please note that your information will be forwarded to the local I Love My Park Day organizer for the event you select. We will never sell or share your information other than with the organizer for the I Love My Park Day event you select.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are registering on May 3, 2019, the park may not receive your registration before the event. Please print your confirmation and bring it with you on Saturday.

Honeoye Inlet Wildlife Management Area
Start time: 1pm
End time: 4pm
Meeting Location: Parking Lot on County Road 36, 300 feet north of intersection with Old W Lake Road
Parking Instructions: Volunteers should park at the DEC parking lot located on the east side of County Road 36, approximately 300 feet north of the intersection with Old W Lake Road South. ILMPD Signs will be placed on the roadside to help volunteers find the parking lot. The parking location can be viewed on Google Maps at https://goo.gl/maps/SXgKJaM2dSt
Ages: Appropriate for 13 and up
Volunteer Project: This event will include native shrub planting and maintenance of previously installed tree protectors. Volunteers should bring their own work gloves and shovels, and should wear sturdy waterproof boots (ground conditions will likely be soggy). Volunteers should be prepared to walk approximately 1 mile on natural terrain, and may want to bring bug spray to avoid mosquitoes and ticks. This event will occur rain or shine.
