Tree Planting event in Inlet Restoration area

  • entrance to the DEC Wildlife Management Area, 2 miles south of Muller Field Station

Come and see the new stream channel created to help reduce sediment and pollutants from entering Honeoye Lake. We will be planting trees and shrubs provided through the NYS DEC Trees 4 Tribs Program. Planting these native plants will help to improve wildlife habitat and stabilize the newly constructed stream channel.


When: April 22nd 2017, 1PM-3PM


Where: County Road 36, Meet at the entrance to the DEC Wildlife Management Area, 2 miles south of Muller Field Station. The entrance is next to the red house at 6913 County Road 36. Event signs will be posted.


What to bring: Please be prepared to get muddy! Dress for the weather. Boots, gloves and shovels are recommended.
