Steam Powered Cars coming to Honeoye
When
June 26, 2015
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Location
Richmond Fire Hall
On Friday 6-26, a loosely organized group of steam powered car owners
will be passing (huffing and puffing) through Honeoye and stopping for a
lunch break and getting water from the Richmond Fire Department. They
will be coming by at no specific intervals as each vehicle has its own
capabilities. The duration of their arrivals may be several hours. No one knows for sure due
to the nature of the vehicles. As they put it, their idea of starting
the car is to go out to start a fire and then see what happens. A great
photo opportunity will be here for sure, especially in front of the Fire
Station.
Should be fun. As the date nears we may hear of a more specific
timeline. They apparently are leaving from Canandaigua and returning there.
