Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower

Sarah Meyer, program manager at the Finger Lakes Institute, visited Tokyo Japan in June 2014 as Group Leader of the Technos College International Exchange Program. This slide show presentation will be a reflection of her personal observations of environmental consciousness abroad. Participants will gain an awareness of the similarities and differences in how the Japanese culture acknowledges the natural environment and the unique ways in which environmental awareness is integrated into their personal and public spaces, such as gardens, temples, office buildings, restaurants, city streets, and living spaces.
